Personal finance is all about goal-setting. All too often, though, it’s also all about a little sacrifice. It’s not fun to give up a treat in order to contribute to this week’s emergency fund. It’s not fun to plan out your Christmas spending months in advance. It’s really not fun to suggest a less expensive night out for your friends.

But look at you, doing it anyway! You deserve security and wealth. And even when the process is slow, you’re making it happen. You should be proud.
